Pottery Market Beroun / Hrnčířské trhy Beroun

I spent this Saturday at a very nice event – traditional pottery market in Beroun. It is already a long tradition that every second weekend in May and September many pottery crafters meet up in Beroun and fills the square not only with awesome pottery and ceramics, but also with positive and joyful mood and usually they bring sunshine with them too.

Sobotu jsem strávila na skvělé akci – hrnčířských trzích Beroun. Je již dlouholetá tradice, že každý druhý víkend v květnu a září Berounské náměstí zaplní stovky hrnčířů a přinesou s sebou kromě úžasné keramiky spoustu optimismu, dobré nálady a většinou i sluníčka.

Na trhy se vždycky moc těším a letos jsem se rozhodla nefotit jenom krásné keramické objekty, ale také lidí ve stáncích. Užijte si fotografie, a kdo by chtěl víc, najde jako obvykle celou reportáž na mém rajčeti.

These cups are just beautiful, each one is completely different and there is a full story on each of them. I have bought some last year.

This year was also in the name of celebrating 750 years from the founding of the town Beroun and as Beroun was celebrating its anniversary, there was a competition for the best souvenir for the town. All exhibits were just awesome – you can see many bears and two typical town gates. I am curious, who would be the winner.

Letošní rok probíhal v duchu oslav 750 let od založení města Berouna, a protože Beroun slavil svoje výročí, proběhla taky malá soutěž o nejlepší upomínkový předmět. Všechny práce byly prostě úžasné – můžete tu vidět spoustu medvědů a Berounských bran. Jsem moc zvědavá, kdo nakonec vyhraje.

Except this competition, there was a traditional competition/exhibition of the best garden object. My very favourite this year is this one. It is named the solar system. Can you name all 9 planets?

Kromě této soutěže, proběhla I klasická soutěž/výstava nejlepších zahradních objektů. Můj favorit je tento s názvem Sluneční soustava. Jestlipak pojmenujete všech 9 planet?
